Here's a 6" mechanical pencil from the Ahnapee & Western Railway.  The pencil reads: PHONE 49 Railway Express Agency Ahnapee & Western Railway E. F. Bushman, Agent The two-digit phone number dates this to probably the late 1940s.	Larger Images
